2011-12 Registration Information

Registration is now open to all.  To guarantee your space, register now and put down a $60 deposit. If your plans change, contact the treasurer@orcasynchro.org by August 31 for a full refund. 

Registration options

A. Register by phone

1. Call the registration line at 780 428-ORCA (780 428-6722). As well as answering any questions, the registrar will request the registration information. 
2. On registration day complete the personal information consent form. 
3. Participant's Agreement* (for swimmers under 18 years) or Waiver (for swimmers 18 years or older) insurance form will be available on registration day. This form must be signed before the swimmer can enter the pool. 
4. Either use step 5 below to pay the registration fee or mail a cheque payable to Orca Synchro to 
Orca Synchro Treasurer 
c/o P.O. Box 52146, Edmonton, AB, T5G 2T5. 
Once we receive payment, your space will be reserved.

On registration day, astreamlined registration completion process will be instituted. This process must be complete before any swimmer enters the locker room.  The Registration times are as follows:

  • SynchroKids: 6:30pm-8:00pm
  • SynchroStars: 6:30-8:30pm
 
A table will be set up in the long hallway at Scona Pool where registration forms will be checked, participants agreements for swimmers and family swim members completed, payment received, Child tax credit receipts given and casino shift chosen.  
Please come with your cheque book if you have not already paid via pay pal and your casino shift preference.  An email will be sent early September with the date of the next Casino so that you can check your calendar for shift preferences. 

     

    Refund policy

    This policy applies to the September and January installments separately.

    •  Withdrawals up to two weeks before classes start receive a full refund.
    •  Withdrawals up to the third practice receive a 50% refund, but there is a minimum $50 administration fee.
    •  Once the third practice starts, there will be no refund.

    Note that you must withdraw, not just stop attending. To withdraw, notify the registrar at 780 428-ORCA (780 428-6722) or registrar@orcasynchro.org.
