  • 2009-10 Registration Information:
    Registration is now open to all.  To guarantee your space, register now and put down a $60 deposit. If your plans change, contact the
    treasurer@orcasynchro.org by August 31 for a full refund.  On September 13, the first day of swimming, a streamlined process will be instituted. This process must be complete before any swimmer enters the locker room.  Registration for SynchroKids/Seasoned Synchro will be held from 1:00 to 1:45 and SynchroStars/Synchro Moms from 2:00 to 2:45.  A table will be set up in the long hallway at Scona Pool where registration forms will be checked, participants agreements for swimmers and family swim members filled in, payment received, Child tax credit receipts given and casino shift chosen.  Please come with your cheque book if you have not already paid via pay pal and your casino shift preference.  An email will be sent early September with the date of the next Casino so that you can check your calendar for shift preferences.

Camp #1
Introduction to Synchro
$60

Come and try a new sport! Swimmers will learn basic synchro skills, and put them together into a mini routine.

Time: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Camp #2
Building on the Basics
$80

These Star 1 and 2 swimmers will solidify their basic skills and learn new and exciting elements. They will use these new skills to work on a mini-routine.

Time: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Camp #3
Synchro with Experience
$90

These Star 3 and 4 swimmers will use those skills they have learned to explore creative choreography. New highlights, boosts, arm work, and figures will be focused on.

Time: 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Camp #4
Synchro with Experience 2
$120

These Star 5+ swimmers will use their strong synchro foundation to explore creative choreography. New highlights, boosts, arm work, and figures will be focused on, and they will be working with a special guest coach.

Time: 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.



Important Notice!

The executive has heard reports that the City of Edmonton has planned to close Scona Pool.  We have contacted the City of Edmonton for more details.  At this time we wanted to inform all of our parents and swimmers that we are working towards other solutions that will work for our club. Stay tuned!
