Welcome to the Orcas: Artistic Swimming for all ages and abilities!
At Orcas, we believe artistic swimming should be accessible, welcoming, and fun for everyone. As a recreational club, our focus is on creating a positive environment where swimmers of all abilities can build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the joy of being part of a team.
While we don't participate in competitions, our swimmers are encouraged to challenge themselves, work hard, and take pride in their progress. Throughout the season, athletes learn artistic swimming fundamentals, improve their strength, flexibility, and technique, and work together to create synchronized routines.
The season culminates in two exciting water shows—a mid-season performance and our year-end showcase—where swimmers have the opportunity to perform for family and friends and celebrate everything they have accomplished. These performances provide all the excitement and sense of achievement of a competitive event while keeping the emphasis on teamwork, personal growth, creativity, and fun.
Whether your child is trying artistic swimming for the first time or looking to continue enjoying the sport without the pressure of competition, Orcas is a place where every swimmer can belong, grow, and shine.
If you have a swimmer who is curious about synchro, but not ready to commit to a full season, we are also running a 6-week Learn to Synchro session starting on Sept 27/. This program will run on Sundays from 9:00-10:30 at the Booster Juice Recreation Center (Terwillegar). The link to register for this will be available mid-August.
Registration for the 2026-2027 Season will be open in mid-August!
